Be under no illusion we have work to do but rest assured FTB is a unique and truly individual service, which is continuously learning and evolving, whose primary aim is to meet the mental health needs of a multi-cultural city.

The role of the Clinical Support Worker is vital in providing support and care to the young people of Birmingham.

As a member of our clinical team, you will be offered a varied caseload of work, depending on your skills and experience. You will work with a wide range of other professionals, in providing safe, person centred care and treatment.

You will be an inspirational individual - a warm and compassionate person - someone who is able to take direction and make safe and confident decisions around patient care in partnership with a range of other health care staff, acting as a vigorous advocate for our patients and their families. Having their voice heard is your main objective.

We expect our staff to lead from their heart and have a passion for wanting to make a difference to people’s lives.

In return you will receive support and guidance and opportunities for learning and development. This post has the potential to lead you into further career progression with the opportunity to undertake a Trainee Nurse Associate programme – we can discuss this in more detail with you at interview.

You will have access to a range of specialists and professionals – ours is a truly multi-disciplinary approach to health care and if you have the stamina, courage and commitment, then we would like to hear from you.
