Tungsten Engineering Ltd produce high-end, bespoke sheet metal fabrications for both local and nationwide clients from our workshop on the Heathcote Industrial estate in Leamington Spa. To join our growing team we are currently looking to employ a workshop/general labourer.
Job requirements and responsibilities
The role will be maily workshop based, and you will be required to assist members of our team in-house to produce bespoke metal fabrications
- Support the welders and Engineers in manufacturer
- Grinding and polishing of welds to a very high standard including graining of stainless steel to specific grit finish required for food and pharmacutical clients (Training will be given)
- Cutting and de-burring of stock materials and preparing them for welding
- Marking out and drilling holes
- Take deliveries
- Maintain a tidy workshop environment, sweeping up, including waste management as required
- Driving a counterbalance forklift to load and unload deliveries (Current License not essential and candidate can be put on a course)
- Load and pack goods for delivery
- Support fitters on installations
- Drive the company vehicles, and assist with collections and deliveries
- Support other team members as required
- Other duties as required, including labouring in our yard & workshop

You will require:
- Good practical skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and have the initiative to work alone.
- An interest or experience with metalworking and welding would be beneficial
- The ability to work to a good level of quality
- Be punctual and reliable

- Ability to abide to health and safety requirements
