We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting adults to join our team in Comberton, Cambridgeshire working days or night shifts on either a full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time basis.
This position will be supporting one gentleman who loves being outside in the fresh air. He has his own allotment where he enjoys growing fruit and vegetables and gardening to support his physical health and mental wellbeing. This gentleman also has a very friendly and clever cat called Barney, who often opens doors rather than using his cat flap!
You will also support "Mark" with developing and understanding his emotions, developing effective ways to communicate his needs, developing empathy for the needs of others, and learning about and understanding his health needs.
This is a challenging and demanding role that requires you to draw on your compassion, resilience, and a non-judgemental attitude. You will need a sound understanding of risk management and the ability to maintain appropriate structures and boundaries.
Shift and rota pattern:
- At Dimensions, we value a work / life balance so you will receive your rota at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Shifts patterns are 7:30am-10pm with sleep-ins.
- Waking nights will be 9:30pm-7:30am.
- We are looking for people with flexibility to work these shifts across weekdays, weekends, and a share of the bank holidays.
